For the 2018 edition of Art Basel Miami Beach, the gallery presents a booth dedicated to new works by Eric N. Mack. Mack’s installation is comprised of four fabric works which behave like soft canvases, flecked with acrylic, revealing the relationship between the picture plane and the frame. With these works, Mack examines the notion of painting, exploring the action and construct of a painting as not essentially static.
