It Ain’t Fair 2012
The fifth and final edition of this annual group exhibition It Ain’t Fair (IAF), coincides with Art Basel Miami Beach. Since the first installment in 2008, It Ain’t Fair provided an alternate experience to the December art fairs in Miami. Over the course of IAF‘s history, the gallery presented a wide range of work from artists in many disciplines from Tauba Auerbach to Ashley Bickerton, Cyprien Gaillard to Clayton Patterson, Gang Gang Dance to The Gossip; visual arts, films, and performances coalesced to capture the zeitgeist.
The final IAF moves from the Design District to a 6,000 square foot location in South Beach to accommodate the work of over 30 artists, many who contributed previously along with several new names: David Adamo, Diana Al-Hadid, Julia Chiang, Dan Colen, Brian DeGraw, Sam Falls, Leo Fitzpatrick, Michael Genovese, Luis Gispert, Drew Heitzler, George Herms, KAWS, Harmony Korine, Hanna Liden, Nate Lowman, Ryan McGinley, Laurel Nakadate, Eddie Peake, Bert Rodriguez, Amanda Ross-Ho, Prem Sahib, Aurel Schmidt, Jack Siegel, Lucien Smith, Agathe Snow, Kon Trubkovich, Nick van Woert, Garth Weiser, and Amy Yao, among others.
